Interviews with speakers
The conference is getting close now! Hope you have not missed the Johnny Holland interviews with a few of our speakers this year! Just in case you have, here are the links if you want to get to know them better in time for the conference.
Interviews:
* About applied ergonomics and convergent design with speakers Lennart Andersson and Thomas Nilsson from Ergonomidesign.
In short: In their talk at From Business to Buttons Lennart and Thomas "will share [their] view on how to work with convergent design and how to bring the “natural” into user interfaces. One of the cornerstones of anything ergonomic is that it is natural for the user. Physically natural, cognitive natural and emotionally natural."
* About Challenges and Authentic Experiences with speaker Bill DeRouchey from Ziba Design.
In short: Bill says he will speak about how companies can connect better to their customers. ”In our “user experience” world, this means when people use a website, software, product, etc., people should somehow experience the people that created it. Connection. So I’ll highlight examples of companies that have successfully done this and provide a framework within which to understand it.”
* Interview with Dave Malouf on Interaction Design
Dave is professor of Interaction Design in the Industrial Design Department of the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD). At From Business to Buttons, he will talk about the new differentiators for customers beyond quality and usability, directly related to holistic aesthetic design considerations.
