Moodcase
Moodcase is a web based design and project management solution that is changing the way we design, present, specify and develop interactive solutions. By putting the principles behind agile development to work in all stages of the design and production process many of the common problems experienced in IT projects today can be solved.
For business and marketing professionals Moodcase offers support for effect management. Developed by inUse, this is a state of the art method known for accuracy in identifying the needs and requirements of the users and easily prioritize these from a business perspective.
By using Moodcase, designers and usability experts gain more influence in the decision making process as well as the technical development. With Moodcase, paper sketches, design solutions and interactive prototypes are used as the core of the technical specification. In this way design and usability become the driving forces behind all development which results in more lightweight specifications explaining functionality in a language everybody involved understands. Moodcase provides integration with leading design and prototyping applications enabling designers to continue using their favorite application.
Moodcase, with its effect management capabilities, is the perfect tool to use when creating a product backlog. A development team is always more productive if the project is clearly described in a well structured and correctly prioritized backlog ready for estimation. With Moodcase rigid text based specifications are a thing of the past. The development process itself is facilitated by an established bug management solution integrated in the system.
However, the big winner when using Moodcase is the client. Apart from letting the client get better software developed faster, Moodcase also provides a whole new level of overview of the design and production processes. This new approach speeds up decision making and enables the client to engage actively in the development.
